More Information

So I have the MSI P6N Diamon mother board which already has 2gb of 800mhz dual chanel RAM working for almost a year. I just bought Corsair DDR2 2048mb 6400 PC800 RAM which has 2 stick each 1024mb. I installed them next to the other 2 giga of RAM and I opened PC. First time PC would be at boot where it recognises my CPU and thats it nothing more. At second rebot it recognises the RAM and after I get the error:

"the file is possibly corrupt. The file header checksum does not match the cumputed checksum."

So I removed the new ram and opened PC without any problems.
