Hello,
I am constantly getting BSOD I can't even get to My BIOS Screen.

I have a Compaq Armada e500 Notebook PC running XP Pro, 512MB ram, IBM 30GB hard drive.

I have tried Safe mode (won't come up), Last known good confiuration (won't come up), Start windows normally (won't come up) as EVERYTIME I go back to BSOD.

I have also tried the Simple button presses including F2, F6, F8, F10, F12, Esc.

I have tried the RTC reset, removed the power pack, on button reset, and the strip laptop down.

I am still getting the same message - CONFIG_LIST_FAILED Stop: 0x00000073
Can anyone help with this problem as it is driving me insane.

That can happen if the system is too low on RAM or hard drive space.

You'll need an XP disc to fix it. Boot off the XP disc, into the recovery console. You can navigate to a folder that has some deletable data, and use the delete command to remove the folder/files.
