Hello All!

i have a f700b flatron LG that works on a 800*600 res and a 100 Hz.

my are are used to the 100hz and if i set it at 85 they start to hurt after a while.

now i want to buy a new monitor (an lcd one of course) but i am afraid that my eyes will hurt because i know lcd's cant reach 100 hz.

up untile now my best bet is the samsung 206w 2ms lcd wide (i want it also for games remember? :) )

but still afraid of the hz thing...
anyone know something i dont?
thx in advance for the help.

It wont hurt your eyes , as lcds dont flash the screen like a crt does, but simply recolors any new pixels needed for a new angle or picture. In other words, it doesnt work the same, the refresh is totally different and wont hurt your eyes

I have the opposite of you - if i look at a CRT for too long, i get major headaches. I can't take the refresh on it. But jay is right, I switched to using all LCD's and I haven't gotten a headache from it since.
