Building a computer with a Gigabyte GA-X48-DQ6 board. Board worked fine for two days as I was putting it together, then BOTH RJ-45 ports stopped working. No connection/activity lights where they had been working on a known good cable. Vista Network Troubleshooter says, "Connect Cable." Once during troubleshooting, I saw the connection/activity lights on for about 5 secs during a boot. They went off and did not come on again.
Re-checked the cable with another computer.
Checked the BIOS - LAN ports are enabled.
Re-flashed the BIOS with the GA-X48-DQ6.F6 BIOS.
Computer works fine except no network connection. Anything else to try before I assume it is bad hardware and try to get the board exchanged? (I got it from NewEgg.)
