trying to install windows vista ultimate 64 onto raid system(motherboard- software based?)
raid 10 system, and it does not see 4 hardrive system i set up. all hdds are new
does hdds new pins liek to make them primariry or secondary or slave/ master
If so, Vista should see the array with no trouble at all. You definitely don't have to mess with master or slave (which doesn't even exist with SATA). If it isn't Intel, you may have to load RAID drivers during the install process, which can be done easily via a USB drive.
