I've always been on ATI VPU until I upgrade my X1950Pro to a 8800GT overclocked last january if my memory is right. I then installed the latest 169.21 (on XP) and 169.25 (Vista 64-bit) drivers. Since then I checked on a weekly basis for improved drivers but haven't got anything.
If you consider that since then ATI as released Catalyst 7.1, 7.2 AND 7.3, that doesn't sound too good for NVidia.
Does anybody knows about when NVidia will release new drivers. Is it because they can't get the famous WHQL from Microsoft? Also, why can't they do an unified driver like ATI does? I've seen 174.something drivers for the new 9800GTX X2, but nothing elses.
Don't worry, I'm not an ATI fanboy... I'm more of a "the most powerful VPU for a reseanobla price" type. I just remember when poeple used to critisized ATI for their lackluster driver support, when NVidia used to released updated drivers every month or so. Times change!!!
Before I go, don't tell me that if it's not broken there is no need to fix it type of answer. I'm sure NVidia can release drivers that will improve performances on a lot of game release since last december when the latest drivers were released.

That is one thing that I always have to get used to when moving over to the nVidia camp. They dont release drivers nearly as often as ATI (which releases new ones every month). Its been like this for a long time unfortunately.
