hello

I just ordered a 8800GTS 512, i was searching for a new video card for a while now. Price was never an issue, but i wanted something reasonable.

So i opted for the GTS, now the card is coming tommorow. I have no psu for it yet.
Will the 450 corsair do the job? Lastly what r people thoughts who own the card?

I am a normal gamer, who enjoys a game here nd den. When i play though i expect to play with eyecandy on.

Does BFG warranty covers overclocking damage?

I wouldn't overclock unless you need to. The corsair, if it is the one I'm thinking of, has nice amperage and real good efficiency so it should do the job.

Here's one insane deal and one very good deal for high quality seasonic built PSUs.

Insane deal:

Antec NeoPower 650 Blue ATX12V / EPS12V 650W Power Supply 100 - 240 V UL, CUL, CE, CB, FCC Class B, TUV, CCC, C-tick - Retail

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371010

Good deal:

PC Power & Cooling S610EPS EPS12V 610W Continuous @ 40°C Power Supply 100 - 240 V UL, cUL, CE, CB, TUV - Retail

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817703005

Right now I wouldn't consider the Corsair 450 looking at how for a few more bucks can net you a seasonic built 650W unit.

Yeah dont overclock. It will boost your 3Dmark score significantly but you wont see the results in games with G92 cards.

I am running that antec neopower 650 and it does great. I would recommend it if you want future headroom. There is no sense in buying a power supply that does just enough when you will want to upgrade down the road. <---opinion

The thing is i live in the UK, so down here the corsair 450 is about $100.

I am probally not going to upgrade for a while, so will it be able power the 800gts?

So no overclocking oke, but say that in the future i happend to have overclocked. Will BFG cover this? If anything goes wrong?
