I am getting FiOS 20/20 and want to allocate a certain amount of bandwidth to certain services (ie 2Mbps to my FTP, 1Mbps to my VoIP phone, etc). Yes my router does QoS but it only does it by priority (High, Medium, Low) and i want to set specific limits. I have a Linksys WRT350N and i know it doesnt do that with the standard firmware. I looked into third party firmware and Tomato seems to be the only one that does what i want but that only works for the WRT54 routers. So i guess my questions are, does anyone with a WRT350N have experience with a third party firmware that does what i want? If not does anyone know a good 10/100/1000 router (wireless is not a necessity) that does this?
