OK i have my choice for ram down to 2 choices, and yes i will be overclocking on my system.
The 2 Dual channel memory kits im considering are almost the same.

First one is
OCZ 4Gb PC2-6400 DDR2 Dual Channel Reaper CL4 HPC Edition
Timing: 4-4-4-15

and the second choice
OCZ 4Gb PC2-6400 DDR2 Dual Channel EB ReaperX HPC Edition
timing: 4-4-3-15 EPP

Now the difference in price is about $30.

any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

The later has a lower TRP, but at those latencies anyway, it might not make that much of a difference. However, the later also has EPP, which usually helps with stability in overclocking and overvoltaging (which these cards have.)

If you can find any reviews on the two, read them. Otherwise, I'd say go with the ReaperX cards if you plan to use them at those timings.
