Administrative privileges printer default

My problem seems to be with my @!#$%&*+$ Quicken program as it will not allow me to print checks from this laptop. HP solved it a few months ago but it won't allow me to print from the LAPTOP. Please provide assistance. Many thanks.

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

If HP fixed it on one machine, it's unlikely that Quicken is at fault. You need to duplicate the printer Properties from the computer which will print them on to the laptop. You might as simple as making sure the paper size matches the size of the cheques.
