how will i make sure that they fit in my mobo and casing? I will be getting the asus rampage formula or extreme mobo and the casing will most probably be the nzxt tempest. What do you think? Will it fit well?? Will it have enough space?

A good trick is to use newegg reviews. For example I looked here:

and it took only seconds to discover this quote:

Cons: There is a lot of copper tight around the CPU. I had to modify my Tuniq heatsink "H" clamp to fit.

I suspect the Core Contact (i.e. Tuniq v2) will have the same issue, but I don't really know for sure.

Anyway, Rampage Formula + Xigmatek + Tempest should work. I found users with Rampage Formula+Xigmatek HDT-S1283 among the Rampage reviews, and then users with the Xigmatek HDT-S1283 among the reviews of the Tempest.
