Anything with a PCI-E x16 slot will do. You have to be more specific.

Screen size or resolution?
Favorite games?
Budget?
Do you need FireWire, RAID, eSATA, support for more than 2 monitors?
Any preference between Intel and AMD?
Do you want one or two or three video cards?

screen size i like 1600x1200, games i like nascar 2003 season, call of duty 4, battlefield, gears of war, c&c tibireum wars. budget not big concern but woulk like to try to get the ceapest bang for the buck. single monitor, AMD INTEL doesn't matter. and i like SLI.

OK, you like SLI but you also want something cheap. You don't need SLI at 1600x1200 so let's forget it. I suggest a 8800GTS 512MB card, a 550VX PSU, and one of these motherboards:

GA-P35-DS3L - $117, no RAID/no FireWire/no eSATA/4 SATA ports/2 SATA cables

aBit IP35Pro - $148, adds RAID & FireWire & eSATA and has 8 SATA ports/4 SATA cables/second PCI-E x16 slot

Both are very popular and reliable. Prices are newegg after shipping and rebates. At these prices I think the IP35 Pro is much better value for the dollar. But, if you're absolutely sure you won't need any of the differences, you can save $31 and get the DS3L.

Edit: if you do want SLI, you could look at P5N-D for example, or the XFX 780i or eVGA 780i. You'd also need a bigger PSU.

Oh, OK. The 750i and 780i mobos have 1333/1066, and they are the only ones you can use for SLI. If you want 1600/1333 you need an X38 mobo, but that means you get Crossfire instead of SLI.
