P35-DS3R Rev 1.0 and 45nm Wolfdale E8xxx ??

Hello all,
I have a P35-DS3R rev 1.0 mobo still in the box and just ordered an E8400 for it.

Will it boot with the E8400 in it so I can update BIOS?
