I have a mapped network drive in a local network, like a shared folder...
How could I remotely access this drive from a computer, which isn't connected to this local network?
I thought about setting up a VPN on that computer, which holds the network drive, but I think that would be too hard and could be a better way to do this.

I dont know if alternate network configuration will work. Perhaps someone else can verify.

Of course you need to be physically connected to the same wire and behind the firewall of both networks. (Im guessing your on two separate subnets)
Not sure.
