Hi guys, 2 questions for you....

1) i have the following kit and i need a mobo - albeit for stock only (not interested in Overclocking) so just want something reliable....

P4 Q6450
BFG GX2 9800
4GB (2x2GB) Corsair dominator @1066
Antec Quattro 850 (Certified to work with a 9800 GX2 by Nvidia)

Now before you say Asus Striker 2 - i had one and its rubbish. I've read all the forums and theres clearly issues with head from the BFG and the massive heat from the northbridge. Its been RMA'd and i've requested a refund.

In the meantime i need a new board. As long as it has 6xSatas and 1 x PCI 16x i think i'm away. I don't know if i need Esata yet if it has one that all the better...

2). When i DID build my rig - my GX2 initially booted with one green and one blue light on the back (not including the lights inside the rear extraction fans) - the blue light was next to the HDMi port.
Now....why is it blue?

The reason i ask is that after i tried to install Windows XP32, the blue light went out and only the green light stayed on. I'm hoping everything is okay and i won't be able to check again until i've bought whatever mobo you guys recommend. I'm hoping the mobo hasn't damaged the card - both the internal lights do work and the power lights are both green.

Many thanks for listening.

(PS - whats the differences running this card on an intel or Nvida system (SLI) based system?)
