The MSI GT is just awesome with it's cooler. if I were to get a GT i'd get this one. The GTS is ok, just like all the others. THey only have a 2/3 year warranty though 2 year parts and labor, 3rd year just parts. eVGA and XFX are lifetime warranties. Guess that is how they keep their price down. But really are you going to have your video card more than 2-3 years? I'd just get the GTS to be honest unless you want to save a few bucks on the GT.

With the dual slots there's not too much between them as they should both be cool, especially the GT with that cooler. Of course the GTS is better, but depending on what you play or what you want to get out of it, I'd pay the extra for the GTS.
Who knows? There seem to be a few Zalman coolers floating around on GTs, I went for two GTs in SLI personally, but the difference at that res between the two is completely different. I'd go for the GTS in single though.
I have the MSI 8800GT running a 22" lcd 1680 x 1050 and am happy with it. If you are gaming at a higher res than that you should go for the GTS for its extra performance.

The performance difference between a GT and GTS is nominal. The cooling stock vs stock is a big difference though. And therefore the GTS overclocks much better than a stock GT. I got mine to 750 without every trying. I tried 700 then 750 then 800, 800 had issues so i backed it down. I didnt even try to weasel it up any higher.
