How can I block automatic Windows updates for XP?

Turn them off in Security Center. Why are you doing that though? It's one of the more usefull features in Windows, at least for home use.

Turn them off in Security Center. Why are you doing that though? It's one of the more usefull features in Windows, at least for home use.

Sometimes the updates alter the settings on my scanner and other devises causing too many problems.
