HD3650 vs HD2600pro?

Which one is better and which one is more value for money? The second is DDR2 but has 512mb, the first is DDR 3 but has 256mb.

Will either play crysis well enough? If so, which one will play it better? and at what level and res?

Oh I should add that one is sapphire (the 3650) and the other (the 2600) is palit.

You will see better performance from the HD3650 w/256mb DDR3.

As far as Crysis, don't expect high quality detail. I'm sure that Medium to high (you'll have to tweak) with 1400x900 resolution (if widescreen), you have playable results.

what about at 1280x1024? or 1024 x 768? What level will I be able to play it at that sort of res?

Those are lower resolutions so they will play fine as well. Lower resolutions my bottleneck depending on what your CPU is. I would just set it for 1280x1024, tweak detail settings and enjoy.

For the HD 3650, there are 512mb DDR3 versions out and they are below $100.

I'd expect 1024x768 and all medium details on the 3650. The 2600XT is a step up the ladder in performance and can manage 12x10 medium fairly well, but above that some things need to be set to low.

Is there any resolution that it would be able to play it on high at? Like 800x600? I don't mind playing it at medium, just asking.
