hey, i`m wanting to get the q6600, i dont have a sutable mobo atm to support q9300 +custom pc magasin said the q6600 is better vaule etc

so i was wondering before placing the order if there will be a price drop anytime soon ?

It happened yesterday actually, was $249.99... it was briefly $248.99 before it went to $239.99 yesterday.

The Internet is abuzz with rumors of a massive price cut in Intel's Core 2 Quad processor later this year. According to HKEPC.com, the price of the 2.4 Ghz Core 2 Quad will plunge 70% from its current price of $851 to $266 in the third quarter.
