Stock fan against Aftermarket.

I have always used stock fans, mostly because the thought of overclocking never crossed my mind, and besides, the stock AMD fans didn't look all that cheap and crappy as Intel's did at that time. (lol )

But now... I just got a better budget for getting a new computer, and am wondering what the bonuses are to getting an aftermarket fan. Obviously you could then overclock with the CPU (e8400 specifically), but are there any other bonuses? Is there a better chance that the CPU would last longer with it on? Intel stock fans are crappy. They have unreasonably hard connects, thatll wear on your mobo and your patience. Remember this, heat is the number 1 killer of electronic parts

They are inexpensive and cool quite well. The S-963 dropped my CPU temps by nearly 8*C w/ the fan running slow. 13*C when on high. And it exhausts right onto my 120mm rear fan....
