Does anyone have experience or comments with these boards as far as long term durability goes? I'm not a gamer and maybe plan on 10% OC'ng. The Gigabyte P35-DS3L has "solid capacitors" and comes from a family of "ultra-durable" motherboards. I've heard that the Abit IP35-E costs less than the Gigabyte board (at least comparing them on Newegg's site) and that some have said "its the best board for the money". I'm trying for a $1000 budget PC using one of these mobo's, E8400, 250GB HD, 4GB memory, 256mb video card, Vista home OS. I have Antec Solo case with Antec Earthwatts 430 PSU. Thanks for any feedback
Either board is good, might consider this one also, a few more $$$, but a great board for the money;
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813130098 You going to have to wait for an E8400, neweggs ETA is 4/28/08

DS3L. Because of it's reputation/popularity as a good OC board. See:
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/ [...] w=0&nojs=0 You can definently go for more than a 10% OC with the E8x00 CPUs, even on stock cooling.
Tnx chuckm 4 ur reply n update on that E8400 Shadow, your post on the OC'n is really done well!
If I decide on the DS3L, I'll be heading over to Tom's for that !
