I have recently purchased an Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe/Wi-Fi AMD 790FX MOBO. While hooking this up, I noticed that 8pin power connector on the MOBO had a cover over the 4 right hand pins. I can remove this cover, I am just not sure If it was put on there so that I would use the 4pin connector comming from my PSU or the 8pin and remover the cover on the socket. I am not really sure the difference between the 2 leads, just dont want to kill my board.
Sorry its not very technically worded. Hopefully that made sense to someone and can help me out.
