Q6600 and CPUZ error?

Hi all,

Got something funny going on with CPUZ (I hope its that not my chip)

Q6600
ASUS P5K wifi premium
OCZ Flex 1150 2x1GB
7200.8 x2 RAID0
8600 GTS

No overclocking yet, CPUZ is showing my multiplyer as 6 and not 9 and hence ony 1.6GHz

It's 9 in my BIOS and core Temp shows it as 9 also! on top of that CPUZ jumps to a 9 multiplier for a split second from time to time. I'm using CPUZ V 1.44.2

Any ideas please?

additional,

CPU multiplier seams to go up to 9 when I put some load on it, is their a power save or heat save function on my board maybe?
