Hi,

I just purchased an 8600GT low profile for a slim line DELL C521 and the Vista score has jumped nicely to 5.3 on 3D gaming.

I just came across the Radeon HD3450 on this website..

http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.aspx?sku=346561

.. does anyone know how well this card performs ?

Thanks

not as good as the 8600GT.

The 3450 is slow. But if you use the 3450 with a 780G chipset you get Hybrid Crossfire. Where the IGP and 3450 work together and it performs up to 65% better!

See it here

But raw power wise the 8600gt is faster. And costs about twice as much :(
