1 - You probably do not have restore points that go that far back in time, so check in system restore to see how many you have. You can adjust how much space to use for restore points in settings.

2 - If you do restore back to month (s) ago you lose 'things" created updated since that time.

3- Maybe you want to run your AV and other Malware scanners, if your system has slowed down, or at a minimum uninstall software you do not use, disk cleanup, and defrag your hard drive to see if that helps.
