Ie8 not responding xp

Internet Explorer 8 xp just installed opens and stops responding.What should I do after ten trials?

Uninstall it, try re-installing it. If you did not do this through Windows Update, you may want to run the Windows Update wizard and do the updates along with getting I.E. 8.

ive been fighting this IE8 crap with a microsoft tech for 8 weeks now = (2 HRS per day) AND WE ARE GETING NO WHERE!
i think he is using my computer for a TEST STATION!
