Hey guys, building a new, cheap system, as my old PC blew up (Thank God).

Was wondering if this build could be made any better for the price.

And what PSU would be required.

This PC is being used pretty much just for CSS, WoW and a bit of BF2, so nothing to strenuous.

ALL PRICES IN AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS.

Motherboard Asus M2N-X Plus $85

CPU AMD X2 6000+ 3.0GHz $178

RAM 2x 2G Kit-667(2x1G) Kingston (4GB) $92

GPU 512MB 9600GT ASUS $226

HDD Seagate SATA 250GB $75

Case Thermaltake Matrix $100

PSU ?? $50

TOTAL $806

Swap the:
Motherboard to a DS3L or P5K
CPU to E2180 and OC to 3Ghz
RAM to DDR2 800
Add a Zalman CPNS 7x00 cooler or Arctic Freezer 7
PSU to a Corsair 450VX or smiler high quality PSU. See:
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forum [...] p?t=108088
for PSU tier listing. Get one from the top tires there.

OK, I forgot to add, I'm not going to overclock, but the DDR2 800 is a better option.

I'd like to suggest good coolers on the cheap:

Hyper TX2
Xigmatek S963

Other than that, I ditto what shadow said.
