Will this burn, play dvds or both....?

This is probably a dumb question:

Will this only Burn DVD and CD? Or will it burn and play movies, off dvds, or play games or anything like that?

Another question: Do the cables come with this in the box?

If not, what type of cables do i need to buy?

^ Well yes it would do all that you want but get a retail version...it would have good software required for buring DVDs...

Is this a better choice? Believe its the retail version. Also, your sure I can use this as a regular dvd rom?
