i recently experienced problems uninstalling software, i receive the error
message "cannot find unstooo". they are both 3rd party applications which i
now know to contain adware. i use Ad-aware, spy bot and microsoft antispyware
along with norton 2004. the software is creating pop-ups which i don't seem
to be able to erradicate.
many thanks in anticipation.

"many thanks in anticipation"
Hmmmm, maybe not.
Format, re-install XP & updates, drivers, etc.
Now that your wiser, stay away from 3rd party applications, unless
you've done some asking around to see if they're safe before you
install them.
Best,

It helps if you give the software concerned - p2p?
Some apps that include spyware will either not run or fail in another way
(uninstall) if you run an app (adaware etc) that removes the spyware files
You may have to reinstall them, then uninstall. After which you will need to
thouroughly scan your sys
