More Information

Hello,
I'm building a system for the first time and I want to put 4GB of ram into this board. However, i do not see a "qualified vendors list" on the website anywhere! Not even in the manual. Anyone have a clue what I can use? Does the voltage of the ram need to be an exact match? Here is what they say the board can handle:

Your new motherboard has four 1.8V 240-pin slots for DDR2 memory. These
slots support 256 Mb, 512 Mb and 1 Gb DDR2 technologies for x8 and x16
devices. They also support dual channel DDR2 memory technology up to
10.7GB/s. There must be at least one memory bank populated to ensure
normal operation. Use the following the recommendations for installing
memory. (See Figure 1 on page 5 for the location of the memory slots.)

I do not understand though, how can I have 4 slots and get 8gb of memory if the max (as stated above) is 1gb per slot? I am getting the 8gb from their literature which says:
240-pin DDR2-800 up to 8GB (4)

Thanks for your help!
