Has anyone gotten any updates on Intel CPU availability - retail boxes?

The CPUs I'm interested in are:

Q9450
Q9550
X3350
X3360

Frys keeps telling me that they will get them in stock in 2 days (been saying this for 2 months). I've found some other sites but they seem to bordering on price gouging - prices seem to be going up due to lack of availability.

I've specified the retail package for a couple of reasons - for one the price is often equal to or nearly equal to the OEM version (as of late that is) and if I'm going to dish out some $$ I'd like to have the 3 year warranty vs. the 1 year warranty. I'm not an overclocker so the warranty is important to me.

Does anyone have any updates on any of these CPUs - widespread availability in the U.S.?

Thanks,
angus

tankguys.com has the Q9450 retail, although it is $380. This is above its normal retail, but only by $30 I think. The price of buying new processors early. ;)

Box Cutter,

I just was looking at tankguys and may end up going with them. You've come to the same conclusion that I have - ~$30/$40 markup (frys has the Q9450 'in the system' at $339).

Sciggy - maybe I'll hold out until the 28th to see if I can get more competitive pricing.

Thanks,
angus

Here an OEM in the UK :

I'm waiting for the q9550, but if I can't find any yet by the time the WD Velociraptor is available, then I'll buy a Q9540 from the UK here.
The stock cooler will never be used in my PC anyway ;-)
I'm still hesitating to get the QX9650 ...
Do you think it would do a 400fsb x 10 multi = 4 Ghz on air?
