So my Hard Drive failed on me, so im planning on getting a Solid State Drive so that i can just run Vista off that. I heard Vista takes 15 GB when it installs. I've Found a 16 GB Solid State Drive for a reasonable $80. Will this be enough space? the price goes way up for 32 GB! thanks.

I wouldn't get nothing smaller then 128mb otherwise it defeats the purpose. So what your vista loads a little bit quicker you won't be able to install anything else on it. You are better off doing what photon.

SSD are for enthusiast still. If you got the money sure their nice to have and will make things faster. But whats the point if the only thing it makes a little faster is your os. You won't be able to have anything else on it period. Either get two drives and raid 0 them or just get a nice decent size hard drive for 80$ you're gonna be a lot better off.
