1)I am ready to do the build and wondering if there is no other way to flash the bios than with an older socket 775 cpu. (Or like ASUS usb stick)
2)I have some (4 X1) Corsair PC-5400 ddr2 675mhz CL4 and some(2X1) Kingston value ram PC-6400 CL5. I think to overclock the e8400 to 9 x 400mhz or 3.6ghz. Is this do-able or stick with lower clock and more ram)
3)I also have an Arctic Freezer Pro 7 cooler and an Enzotech Ultra-X. Are any of these boys overkill at 3.6ghz or is the stock cooler good enough at leadt to this frequency.

Thank you I appreciate any input I don not want to overclock past these point since details are sketchy what cooling is adequete @ 3.6ghz.
I do not know if more ram vs clock speed is a good tradeoff. :pt1cable:

You should be able to buy a chip with the latest BIOS on it from Gigabyte (and perhaps from 3rd party vendors as well), but it might be cheaper just to buy a used Celeron on ebay.
