Okay, so I seriously need help. I have no idea how to do this and google just isn't helping me this time. I have to rename a printer that is on our server but is a network printer. (I only work with desktops not servers and networking, but for some reason it has become my job to rename this printer). We are running Windows Server 2003 I believe and we use Active Directory to make most of our changes.

Anyways, I have tried to rename this printer and when I open up the properties it does not let me rename it, it has the printer name and all but refuses to let me change it. I have also tried to rename it through Active Directory, but it does the same thing. I am not sure what I am doing wrong and I sure could use a little guidance as I am completely lost. :(

Thank you in advance to anyone that is willing to help me out. Thanks.
