ASUS P5ND2-SLI good with Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 or Quad Q6600?

Hey what's up, new to the forums , but have a question concerning the Asus P5ND2-SLI Mobo, it's the Mobo I originally added to an older computer I built with an Intel Pentium 4 630 CPU. I am planning on getting either the Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 or the Quad Q6600, but I am curious as to whether this Mobo can handle either of those. I am planning on buying an XFX NForce 680i LT SLI Mobo , but I have a few upgrades I would rather take care of before that, so that's my question , can my current Asus handle those ok or should I upgrade the mobo pronto before I nab any other upgrades.

I believe that board can only go to P4 840EE.
