so last night after i got everything from newege. i got everything hooked up and when i plugged the comp in, hit the button, nothing happend. after a few tries i tried another wall outlet. then my psu suddenly went up in smoke. it was a corsair 650w

so i went to best but and purchased another psu. this time a bfg 550w. i got everything hooked up and now when i hit the power button, the fans and everything turns on for a split second, then turns off, then turns on for a plit second, then turns off. over and over. did the psu fry my mobo or what?
