I am planning on building a new computer this summer and have a few questions. I plan on getting the GigaByte DS3L. It says that the 2.0 version of this supports the 45nm processors. How do i ensure that I get one of these from newegg? Furthermore if i am running something like a 9600gt or a 8800gts512 will it bottleneck on the interface becasue it does not support pcie2.0? How about with the power? I will just need to plug in an extra connector right?

i think you have to flash the bios for the 45 support but as far as the pcie 2.0.....i am running this board with a q6600 @ 3.0 ghz and a evga 9600gt ssc and get 12600 on the 3dmark06. so i dont think there is an issue of bottlnecking.

new tech is usually backward compatible. Like USB 2.0 works with 1.1.

If you're talking about the mobo revision, you'll have to ask the retailer. For a popular e-tailer like newegg, you will probably get the revision 2.0.
