Hi all im from NZ, and I have NZ$1000 which is about US$550 for a gaming system, what do you giuys think about this system i have priced up for $955.

1 x Intel Pentium E2180 Dual Core 2.0Ghz LGA775 CPU with Fan and Heatsink
2 x 1GB DDR2-800 PC6400 SDRAM
1 x Asus P5Q SE Intel P45 Chipset LGA775 ATX Motherboard
1 x Western Digital Special 500GB SATA 7200RPM Hard Drive
2 x Hightech ATI HD3850 PCI-E 2.0 512MB 256-bit GDDR3, 668/1656MHz
1 x Creative SBS A200 2.1ch Speaker
1 x Asustek 52X CD-ROM Black Drive

I am using the site http://www.pricespy.co.nz for prices, what do you guys think I should buy?

The E5200 would be better, not sure if it would be worth the extra $40 for you
The Asus P5Q SE is a single GPU socket P45 motherboard, you would need the ASUS P5Q PRO for crossfire.
A single 4850 would give you better performance then 2 of the 3850s in crossfire and would be cheaper.

The E5200 is $60 more ans the 3850CF is faster than the 4850 according to toms hardware benchmarks

Perhaps, but as dirtmountain said, that motherboard can't crossfire since it only has one PCIe slot.

I'd also say go for a 4850, what resolution are you going to be gaming at?

about 1280 X 1024, its a budget gaming system.
