Memory Compatible with GA-P31-DS3L

Hi Guys

Anyone able to help. I have a GA-P31-DS3L and basically it just died. Its gone back to gigabyte for RMA. While its away I'm trying to find an upgrade for the RAM.

The main problem is I want to go for 4GB, in the manual it says 4GB is only achievable with single sided ram. Does any know of any thats useable?

I would like to go for Crucial / Corsair / OCZ if possible.

I originally had XMS2-6400 2GB kit and tried to add another which was XMS2-6400C4 but that wouldn't work.

Will it make any difference if I use 8500 instead of 6400?

Looking at maybe Crucial Ballistix Tracer Red, Corsair 4GB DHX, or OCZ reaper.

Does anyone know if these will work?

only difference in going with 8500 instead of 6400 would be a small gain in speed, and a lil lighter wallet. And i have heard the speed increase is barely noticeable so 6400 would be the way to go as its cheaper =)
