I have done the settings in control panel but my screen is still to big

hi i have been in to control pannel and changed the settings for my screen i still can not c all the items as its still to big i am useing a laptop with a monitor going through it

Need a bit more info here, what are your system specs, what monitor model, exactly what settings did you set, what items can't you see?

Is this with both the laptop and the external screen running, or only with the external?
