I'm building a new rip and have some extra funds available for the case and I'd like to get a very good one. I like my games and would prefer decent performance, however tbh I'm far more concerned with how the case looks. If it's going to last me a long time then I want something that will be awesome. I like the idea of a case with a side window and I'm going to have water cooling but I'm not bothered if it doesn't have a side case if it looks good. I'm sure you all know what I mean when I ask for a gaming case :).

I was considering the Stack 830 (?) nvidia edition which looked rather nice, although I'm not sure paying the extra price just for a theme is worth it. Ebuyer had some in with a 830w modular PSU for £200 which is decent compare to other sites though.

A different one I've looked at would be getting the NZXT LEXA BlackLine Blue With LCD Temp Display which looks neat, from the pictures on the web. Front might be a bit boring?

I looked at the Antec 900 but have heard a lot of bad things. This would be pushing my budget to the max but it comes with a water cooling kit built in - the Thermaltake VD500LBNA Sword M Aluminium which I've seen in stock for somewhat over £300.

A different one I liked the look of was one on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/K1-ATX-Media [...] dZViewItem

Basically what do you guys think? Sword M I'd need to get a PSU, although it comes with water cooling (still mighty expensive and although it looks fascinating, somewhat odd..). You guys have probably seen more cases than I have hot dinners so am I looking at completely the wrong cases? I know some people like really big well built bland cases almost like server cases, this isn't my type.

I know I've looked at cases, but as you guys appreciate looking at pictures over the internet does not compare to actually having the thing infront of you and I guess some of you guys have awesome cases.

For some reason I can't edit my posts, so just another quick question. Should I want to mod the case where is a good place to get that done? I've looked at this service which looks good: http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/ca [...] cts_id=668

I like the Antec Nine Hundred. It's a great gaming case & it looks great. The new ones have good cable management.

First...Look at Cost..can you afford it.
Second.....What size Tower? Large or Medium with how many bays/slots.
Third:
Take into consideration.... do you want show&tell components --side window and place where everyone can see it.
Next.... A Great Custom Paint Job.
Or maybe it will be hidden.(This can save ya money)
Last...make sure you get a Case with good mounts for the MOBO and able to do wire connections and possible cooling system route without looking like a patch job.

You can spend anywheres from $50(fair-Good) to $300(Solid and Great Looks) for a case.
Browse NewEgg.com or TigerDirect.com to get some ideas also read the reviews/comments.

Once you find a Case you're interested in.... search the Internet for reviews.

Good Hunting!!!!!!!
