For some reason when ever I place my OCZ reaper 8500 (1066) ram into my BX2 mobo from Intel, it gives me the sirens for no memory detected.

I don't understand though, because this ram does work in an other computer, I have since tried again after trying to put it in my BX2 and it still works. I have also seen other users with BX2 mobos with the OCZ reaper 8500 ram.

So I end up pulling that ram out of my BX2 and switching to lower quality OCZ ram.

memory is properly placed, up to 8 gigs of available on this mobo.

The BX2 only supports up to 800 speed ram, but it should be down clocking my 1066 to 800 like it has for everyone else.

thanks
