More Information

Due to mismanagement at work (who'd ever imagine :) ) we now have two extra Opteron 2216 HE CPUs and an extra 16GB of RAM in the form of four 4GB DDR667 registered ECC Dell kits from a PowerEdge 6950.

I'd like to build out a nice audio and video editing workstation with this, but I'm having a hard time finding information on workstation/server boards. Reliability is the most important issue for us. We don't need quad SLI or anything since we don't do much that would require it. Just a single 16x PCIe slot and six or more SATA connections should be good. SAS would be nice, but may be beyond our budget.

Anyone have a suggestion?
