I am going for a 3 monitor setup from a single and was thinking about getting a 8600GT to run my 3rd monitor off, would this work?

Ive been told to just get a cheap pci card for the 3rd monitor but I would like to be able to use it to some extent for gaming, so would a 2nd pcie card allow this or would it still not run to its full potential?

My current setup is P5K-E wifi/ap, Q6600 with 8800GT

Any advice would be much appreicated :D

if its just for a monitor, get a cheap pci card, or the cheapest card you can find that has support for the resolution/features you want..an 8400gs, 6100,7100 would work fine. you already have an 8800gt for gaming, the additional card won't be able to help.
