Does anyone wanna buy a q6600 for 45GBP inc. postage...buyer must pay via paypal... email me : heatt003@sgfl.org.uk :bounce:

it doesn't come with HSF or box... :D  it will arrive in an anti static bag that would be bubble wrapped... :D

i am selling sue to upgrading to the amd quad core phenom 9600

More about : q6600

April 27, 2008 2:59:01 PM

oh yea...also this cpu was overclocked to 3.8GHz...and had been running at that speed for 2 weeks...untill i decided to upgrade...

THIS IS AN AMAZING DEAL...THE FIRST PERSON TO EMAIL ME WILL BE ABLE TO BUY IT!
April 27, 2008 3:21:09 PM

Why do you think you have upgraded? If your Q6600 ran at 3.8GHz it will be faster than the Phenom!

Boasting about overclocking is not a good thing for sales. People are going to assume "wear & tear" from overclocking. Keep those numbers to yourself and just tell a low VID (if it's low).
April 27, 2008 3:35:47 PM

not being able to run 4 3850's with a Q6600 has nothing to do with the limits of the processor, and im sure there are motherboards in both intel and amd camps with that capability. you should try EBAY
April 27, 2008 3:35:48 PM

Ya you downgraded actually. How much is it in USD? I might buy it if the price is right. I was gonna buy one on monday from newegg. Is it a G0?

What is postage to 69130 area code US?
April 27, 2008 3:36:54 PM

this cpu has no "wear & tear" because it was under a zalman 9700 and rarely went above 40*C full load!

April 27, 2008 3:37:54 PM

postage is free...as i work at the post office...and in us dollars it is $90!

There's also vcore, which matters more than temperature (usually come hand in hand though). Trust me, don't boast overclocking. Boast VID, which implies overclocking.

Is there any import tax or anything? If not I will buy it. You would have to put a auction on ebay though for me to buy it.

That's a big loss you're taking. Price it higher, or people are going to suspect defect/damage.
April 27, 2008 3:41:17 PM

no tax...the only reason i am selling it so cheap is because i cannot get a selling account on ebay...otherwise i would be selling it for much more
April 27, 2008 3:46:59 PM

Anyone can get on ebay. If your not willing to send it through Ebay its obviously burned out or non existent. If someone pays Paypal only they have no fraud coverage, hell you might not even ship a CPU. Through Ebay a person could get there money back with a defective, or non item transaction.

Good luck with your scam.

First you say you upgrade to a Phenom. LOL. Obviously you no nothing calling a Phenom a upgrade, and saying you cant get a Ebay account.
April 27, 2008 3:49:49 PM

:o  :o  :o

i CANT get an ebay account...if there is another way to secure the transaction...i am happy to go with it...

and the phenom wasnt the only thing in my upgrade i also bought 4 3850`s and 8gb of ram
April 27, 2008 3:51:37 PM

Why cant you get a Ebay account. They are free. All you need is a email address.
April 27, 2008 3:54:25 PM

You really love to shoot yourself in the foot dont you?

First you offer something dirt cheap, then you tell everyone how it has been OC'ed to its limits and beyond?

Then you let everyone know that you cannot get a selling account...is this due to bad previous transactions?
April 27, 2008 3:54:45 PM

After i complete the forms for the cpu...it says i do not have a sellers account...and it will not let me make one... :S
April 27, 2008 4:00:48 PM

how old are you?
April 27, 2008 4:01:18 PM

SCAMMER! Try scamming someone in your own country. US people arent as dumb as your kind.
April 27, 2008 4:04:36 PM

i am NOT a scammer...if somebody wants to buy it who lives in the uk...they can collect it...and see it working before they pay... :p

i'm sorry to point this out, but anyone British here will understand the irony of that statement....  (no offense - stereotyping is fun tho)
also, i think this is likely a scam as well - that kind of transaction makes very little sense, unless you are a moron, (buying 4 gfx cards that wont work together without changing mobo and CPU), and from the sounds of it you aren't which all makes me think....
April 27, 2008 4:20:18 PM

Telling people that you overclocked it 3.8ghz is not a good selling point. That is like telling people I'm selling a truck I only did two things with, pulled heavy trailers and went four wheeling on the weekends.

BTW you need to open an account first with ebay then try to sell it. ANYONE can open an account there but that is the only way paypal will protect a purchase against fraud. If you really want to sell it then I would suggest doing it. Its easy and gives people some sense of security. I would agree if your trying to scam, your better off trying a less computer knowledgeable crowd.

April 27, 2008 4:27:29 PM

That's why he can't open an ebay account, because he is 12.

If I wanted to buy it what address would I sent Scotland Yard.. I mean my money to?
April 27, 2008 4:27:39 PM

LOL...u got me...i am 13...and i do need money...thats why i cant get ebay...

BUT i am not a scammer and i do have a q6600 for sale for 45GBP!
April 27, 2008 4:31:45 PM

I'll give you my address and if you send it to me, I'll test and if it works I'll send you your money. Sounds fair don't you think?
April 27, 2008 4:32:18 PM

scam. check out what i got when i goggled his email

April 27, 2008 4:33:56 PM

April 27, 2008 4:41:46 PM

That's not a bad idea, I'll fly to the U.K.. Pick it up and fly back. Let see
Plane ticket - 700.00
food/hotel - 200.00
processor - 90.00
2 days off work - 800.00
total - 1,790.00

I'm in! That's a hell of a deal! Oh wait I think I can get a new one shipped to me for $219.00. Tough call, let me think about it I'll get back to you.
April 27, 2008 4:42:30 PM

he might have fooled people before. but to come to this forum to fool. it is just retard.
April 27, 2008 4:44:05 PM

Pwnt
April 27, 2008 4:47:08 PM

Yeah that was pretty entertaining. I guess he had to go. All the neighborhood kids are there to give him his daily tea bagging.

I can't imagine that someone who just opened an account today would try to scam us, what a dumb ass.
April 27, 2008 5:43:20 PM

So, there is no deal for the Q6600? Man.

LOL. I couldn't believe this person. Seriously..."I'm 42, no I'm 13. I am honest. Please buy." Yeah, way to win any customers.

LOL
