sli bridge drivers?

well i just installed my second 8800gt, attached the sli bridge, and configured them in the nvidia control panel. however when i boot, windows is looking for a driver for a pci-to-pci connector(not sure on the exact name because i am in class right now), which i am assuming is the bridge. does the bridge actually need a driver? i've been looking around and i haven't found mention of this anywhere.

I have never needed a bridge driver...you should check the sli installation instructions for ur motherboard. The steps for setting up sli are different depending on the chipset.
