I have an Emachines T6212 and I am installing a 8800GTS 320mb. Will my PSU be able to power it?

Most likely no. I looked at emachines before and they have junk power supplies, not enough wattage and more importantly not enough amps.

I concur, especially the older ones. Emachines were made to be a lower end Gateway, not to play games on. Check the PSU you may want to see if you can't upgrade it.

a 8600Gt does not need a PCI-E power connector and draws far less power than an 8800. You will need at the very least a GOOD 450W. I'd prefer a 550W to be safe.
