while installing xp in dell inspirion n5010 it shows message like you newly installed hardware or scan for viruses or run chkdsk what's the problem

Typical symptom of using a non-OEM CD to install XP into a machine which needs specialist SATA drivers for the hard disk to work. If that's what it is, you need those drivers from Dell's site so you can slipstream them into a new CD from which to install.
