I am wanting to build an external hd drive. I want a usb 2.0 and esata enclosure. I have three computers I work with - the specs I listed is the main one - and the only one that I would use the esata with. My motherboard does not have esata but it has sata II. I have read alot of reviews from esata enclosures and many people cannot get the esata to work. Is it the enclosure, the hd, the mb/card, or the operating system. Whats your opinion. What is an enclosure that you would recommend. I have found one that I like because I would prefer a fan - I am looking at a TB, I want to make sure it stays cool. I am a heavy user. The second computer has 360 gigs of data. The third is a netbook. I have approx. 450 gigs of data to move to this external. I am a graphic artist - website developer. I want to store all my files on the external so I can use the files on any of the pc's.
