Yesturday I got my new 9800 gx2 installed and running. Everything was going really well. So, I decided to take my computer downstairs to try out the HDMI port on the back. So I disconnect everything and take it downstairs and hook my monitor, mouse, and keyboard in before I ever attempted to connect the hdmi cable. So when I go to boot the display never shows anything just blank. So I plugged in the audio cable and it is booting all the way into windows but no display. took it back upstairs tried to boot but same prob. put my old video card in and the display works. When I say no display it means i didnt see anything none of the boot screens or anything all blank.

I have all the newest drivers installed from nvidia website.

My computer
Thermaltake 1200w power
XFX 680i LT motherboard
q6600 (g0)
Vista home premium 64bit

My buddy has issues with Vista 64bit and his HDMI monitor. He said it's something stupid with DRM and he has to unplug it after windows boots and plug it back in and it works. Stupid Vista!

I never got that far my 22" lg monitor wouldnt boot.

I would also like to know how to get my monitor to recognize my GX2 when it is in HDMI mode. All I get is a black screen, anyone ?
